We went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday for Bubba's birthday. It was the nicest day of the week; the sun was even shining. In case your wondering, there is more than just getting pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. We got to go to the barn and pet/feed the donkeys, and pet the horse, pig, sheep and bunnies. Then we went back outside and gave corn to a bunch of sheep, watched the ducks and chickens run around in their pen, and saw the cows grazing nearby. We ended the visit with a hayride through the woods. The boys really enjoyed their day, while Baby took a nap in the sling. This morning I went to the garden to check on our pumpkins and what do you know, 5 healthy pumpkins (one is still pretty green). The 3 by Baby are the ones the boys picked out from the pumpkin patch.

I got a picture of Baby smiling this morning! Doesn't she have an adorable smile? It sure does brighten up my day just to see a smile from her. Is it awesome how God knows just what to do. It's just a simple smile, yet it means so much. I think it's a good reminder that if you forget to slow down and "smell the roses" you can miss out on so much.
