Yesterday, I was having an emotional day. It wasn't a bad day, just emotional. As I sat in church Sunday evening, I looked around at all my friends. It was as if God was giving me a hug just by showing me their faces and reminding me of how much they have meant to me. There was also a song we sang together called, "His eye is on the sparrow." It was a gentle reminder of how much God loves me.
It was also a day for goodbyes. I said goodbye to a good friend who is leaving for the mission field - I'm going to miss you, Julie. I also said goodbye to Jer's grandpa. He passed away early this morning. Please pray for the Cook family.
